If you are repairing air con now without being qualified, you are probably breaking the law.

Did you know that F-Gas regulations came into force on July 4th 2007? If you are repairing air conditioning systems, without formal training you are breaking the law. The legislation will be phased in gradually, but by 2009 you will need an approved F-gas qualification to repair systems and to buy gas, which will be in reusable non-disposable containers.
